Many of my friends have graduated from there, and are very successful.

Congratulations, Foamy!

So much for the sunshine from yesterday. Today we are getting 3-6 inches of snow! ******************************************************

Well, if the teacher was English they'd have to be! (the US got SO many Irish immigrants that they had to do something to placate them-they even have a bunch of parades) We'll use any occasion to drink-that's why Cinco de Mayo gets more and more popular in the US every year. *****

Happy birthday to Samkitty!

My cat Ariel's birthday is on tax day (April 15). Last year we had a party with her mom and her brothers and sister all in attendance. The family didn't get along though, so this year we'll just bring pictures.

I was telling Duchess, the other day, that it looks like I'll be taking a long weekend off at the end of next month and going to Arizona. I had to make sure it didn't interfere with Elohimfest, and it won't. anana

I think he'll be gone at about the same time I will be gone, only I won't be in a cool place having fun like he will.
I will be gone for a few days at the end of next month to go help pack up the home of my deceased parents in north central Arkansas. I would much rather be partying in Phoenix.

My younger son is having quite a wrestling season this year. In two major tournaments down in Ohio he did well enough to qualify for one of the nation's biggest championships Ohio Tournament of Champions Tonight he took first place at a qualifying tournament at Brooklynn Columbia Michigan Wrestling Federation and qualified for the USA National Folkstyle Championships next month USA Nationals
Unfortunately, both Calibaby and I are too busy with work to be able to take him to the one in Iowa...and the one in Ohio is while we will be in Arkansas...but there is always next year... ******************************************************

From a snowstorm earlier this week, to thunderstorms that woke me up last night, to a perfect spring afternoon...

Midwestern weather can be a hoot! I just opened up a window for the kitties, am about to take the dog for his second walk of the day, and then I htink I will have to put on either Beethoven's Sixth or perhaps The Four Seasons. ******************************************************

Talk about hoots, I went to see a movie last night, and when I got outside, I walked out into a thunderstorm that was spitting snow instead of rain.
It is now a sunny and beautiful morning -- but it is only in the 20s Farenheit... ******************************************************
