A couple of people asked about the hot tub gardens, so here is a link:hot tub gardens, and here is a link to the great place where I ate lunch with the kids:bakery Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

Last night and this morning was really tough. Unfortunately, I will have to do something similar again next month, the weekend before Thanksgiving. I did OK for about the first twelve hours at work, but then I started getting really tired and my asthma started acting up. At least Calibaby had a good, hot breakfast waiting for me when I was finally able to come home from work.
It came out to be 15 1/2 hours, when i went in it was a bright sunny afternoon yesterday, and I got out this morning as the sun was coming up... Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

For the first time in what seems like a long time, I've got a quiet evening.

Anyone want to kick back and have a drink this fine evening?

I too will raise a glass as we listen to Oh Brother... by James Taylor:

I'm not much for making little wishes
But I'd like a little wish to come true for you
I'm not talking about loaves and fishes
But I wish that there was something I could do for you
Here's a little bit of cheap advice
To be taken in an hour of need
Don't assume that the life you left
Is the life you have to lead

(chorus)
When you come home what you gonna do
Oh brother, oh brother
Don't you try to deny
What you know to be true
The same mess of misery that you done been through
Standing in line
And it's waiting for you
One kiss leads to another
Brother when you come back home

I'd like to know who's knocking on door
I'd like to know what they come here for
You'd like to say no
But the words won't come
Come in and sit down, seem to roll off your tongue
You forget to remember, to never die young
One kiss leads to another
Brother when you come back home
Standing in line, all of your friends
Standing in line, party never ends
Standing in line, the river flows, the river bends
Standing in line, all of your friends

- chorus -

And that moon will be
Shining in the trees
All night long
Something bound to happen for sure
Soon you'll be
Stopping by talking to a friend again
Swear you ain't never tasted nothing so pure

- chorus -

When you come home, your friends are dropping by
When you come home, the moon is gonna shine
When you come home, I tell you no lie
When you come home, they're gonna offer you a line
Standing in line, all of your friends
Standing in line, party never ends now
Standing in line, the river flows, the river bends
Standing in line, all your so called friends
Standing in line, when you come home
Standing in line, oh brother, oh brother now
Standing in line, when you come home And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

It's such a lovely afternoon. I have to go to work today, but if its this pretty outside tomorrow (my day off) I am going to take the doggy for a long long long long walk.

Tomorrow will be the last home football game of the season, and Saturday night will be the community Halloween party for the little ones, so I will be wearing my Elohimfest dress for the first time.
The football game will be cold but I am really looking forward to Saturday.

This weekend will be the last of my kids' soccer games, too, and the wrestling tournaments won't be starting until late next month, so maybe I will finally have the time to finish my huge research thread in the Simmons forum.
And do some serious reading and watch some movies.

My older son didn't feel well today, so we all stayed home and watched dvd's instead of going to the football game. We ate homemade pizza and watched old fantasy movies like Clash of the Titans and Willow.
Hopefully he will feel better tomorrow for the big Halloween party. Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

Hey, just popped in to say hey! I haven't had much time on the net lately, what with school and my new hobby: ghost hunting. Neat emotes!

Hey Duchess what football game are you talking about? Cause I was watching the Michigan-Purdue game at Ann Arbor--Purdue got whipped! Further up, and further in!

I'm from Boston. I dont pronounce my R's. I call a garbage can a barrel, a liquor store a packie, a water fountain a bubbla, a milkshake a frappe. I root for a team who has not won a World Series since 1918. To me Cape Cod is a little piece of Heaven down here on Earth. The best place to be on a summer night is Fenway. I ride on the T. I know better than to swim in the Charles River. I yell YANKEES SUCK! when the Red Sox are playing the Tigers. I am a Bostonian and I'm wicked proud of it.

I was talking about our home high school football game. But Calibaby does usually take Bigred to one UM game a season as a birthday gift.
The Halloween party went well. We had somewhere between 200 and 300 kids show up at the old high school. I might have to get a new Elohimfest dress, though. When this one arrived I tried it on and it was fine, but there was no one around to tie up the laces o nthe sides. My husband tied up the laces tonight, and well, two things sort of popped out. My bathing suits are higher cut in front than that! Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell
