brrr...poor thing! But that's what you get 4 living in the tundra! And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Ahira, Ahira, he called out silently to the sky. Ahira, Ahira

Damn, I thought I had it bad! Frozen mud! Snow! Ughh Further up, and further in!

"Come to Elfhand," the troll said.
The child thought for a while....
"N-no" said the child
"Why not?" said the troll.
"Mother made a jam roll this morning," said the child.

I don't know of such a button, but maybe Danlo or Mhoram night.
We're mainly talking about the weather...Earthblood, Mhoram, and I all live in northern areas and its been cold lately where some of us live.
Yesterday my family and I went to the apple festival in New Boston, a nearby town. We bought apple cider and an apple pie and fudge, and looked at the artist's booths, and my younger son rode some carnival rides. It was fun. Have you hugged your cat today?

Thought we had the whole family here 4 a sec... And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

He's a little young yet, but from the way he devours the fantasy books I have given him to read, I am sure he'll be here when he's a little older. Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

I got a wonderful surprise this morning -- my children are home today! They had a teacher in-service that no one remembered to tell me about! I am so happy to be able to spend a day with the little guys! I just wish I didn't have to go to work tonight. Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

I need to hide here for the rest of the day, or week, they're having serious collective brain damage on the Watch. and I had a great time in the mountians we hiked 4 and 1/2 miles around Jemez Falls which we need to add to our Sunday Elohimfest itinerary. And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Called in today and made myself a nice little 3-day weekend.

(Just in case you're wondering, it was a legitimate call-in to take care of some important personal business, and no other time to do it.)

I will enjoy the much needed time off!!!

Well, my weekend is already off to a rough start...I just had to go get my older son, who was sick at school...when I asked him what was wrong, it was clear that he has the same thing I've had all week, down to the low grade fever. Today was a beautiful day. It was warm enough to go outside without a coat or sweater. I took my younger son to his soccer game -- it was the first time I've left my house in a week other than to go to work or to pick my older son at school yesterday. It was a lovely afternoon, with the leaves blazing with light, like living jewels on the trees.
I stopped at the video place and got every bit of Japanese animation they had. I will be having my own Japanese anime festival this week, one movie every day before work.
My husband is now outside, grilling steak for fajitas. Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell
