Duchess, I wish I had 2 days off in a week. I am currently in a 3 1/2 week period during which my days off have not been scheduled back to back at all - so I have only one day off, than back to work, but still working 40hrs/wk, no OT. For example, this week I have off today and Sat. Last week, it was two other separated days, with 4 workdays in between.

No chance to rest and relax, no energy to do what needs to be done. "Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?"<i></i>

I have to admit that after I hit my midthirties, I need at least a halfday to relax and recharge...on one day off I seem to always have to run errands and the other do housework, and run the kids to various athletic things on both...if I don't get at least a halfday to rest I do this: Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

Thanks, Earthy.

And now I have to brag, since she won't do it herself:

We found out today that Foamy is a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist - the only one in her school!!!

Three cheers for Foamy!!!

In honor of foamy we now have her emoticon in permanent residence FOAMY! FOAMY! FOAMY! -Congrats Mr & MsMary! (sorry 4 the inconvenience) And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Ahira, Ahira, he called out silently to the sky. Ahira, Ahira<i></i>

Way to go foamy! Where are you going to college? Decided yet?

Sadly, 3 of my 4 nephews did NOT graduate high school this year.
I is very frustrating, as they are NOT stupid and could have done it with a little more effort.

My 4 yr old will not find himself in that situation (when the time comes).

Kick ass! Very cool, Foamy. I'm happy for you guys. Further up, and further in!

The child thought for a while....
"N-no" said the child
"Why not?" said the troll.
"Mother made a jam roll this morning," said the child.

Hey, hey, my, my...rock & roll will never die....

Welcome CF & dAN. Now start making some bad picks - you're making me look bad....or maybe it's just that I don't know squat about the NFL this year.....
