And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Ahira, Ahira, he called out silently to the sky. Ahira, Ahira

I am so looking forward to the weekend. Getting close now!
If the weather is nice, this is the weekend we'll be going to the Michigan Shakespeare festival and seeing two plays outside!
Oh, and before I forget -- this weekend is Lord Pilot Damelon's birthday!I think it'll be Sunday? So, Happy Birthday Damelon!!! (a couple of days early!)

And isn't Danlo's also coming up soon?? Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

Thank you. Yes Duchess, on Sunday I'll have made it through another year.

While I'm thinking about it, Duchess, I'll run your plan by the others tomorrow when I see them.

Happy bithday, Damelon! Further up, and further in!

"Come to Elfhand," the troll said.
The child thought for a while....
"N-no" said the child
"Why not?" said the troll.
"Mother made a jam roll this morning," said the child.

Second of 2 days off in a row for me...which I only got by calling in yesterday. I feel so relaxed!!! Too bad I have to go back to work tomorrow.

But at least I have Sat. off (but not Sunday ).

Someone keeps crawling around in the vent above my bed. That someone has been doing that for the past two weeks, and has been saying things like, "We are the Demented Fish. We will assimilate you. Prepare to be jam-handed."

It's actually somewhere between funny/scary/weird.

They've gotten funnier. They're making racecar noises.

I think I'll be putting debugger in the vents. That'll stop 'em.
