Now rereading Garth Nix's Lirael, second book in his Abhorsen trilogy.

Just finished up Erikson's The Crippled God and about to embark on Patricia Briggs' River Marked, latest in her Mercy Thompson urban fantasy series.

Have to start rereads of GRRM and R Scott Bakker soon, though, as both have new books coming out. :mrgreen:

Finished "River Marked" tonight. Slower than usual, as I didn't want to take to work with me in my backpack and risk it getting beat up. :lol:

Oh yeah, when Briggs did the reading, she pronounced Stefan with the emphasis on the second syllable. I've been doing it the American way in my head. :lol:

Spent this book trying to say it the right way instead....

Rereading Bakker in prep for his upcoming book. On The Darkness That Comes Before.

Yes, the latest Briggs book was a bit on the slow side in comparison with her other books in that series. Not saying it was bad, just a change of pace.
