Hoping your day went well, danlo!

(well, I did go back to bed for an hour+... )
Raised $258.00 so I'm barely 1/2 way to paying what I owe--doing it again tomorrow and also invading all classrooms with shirts and order fliers!

I just came back from a holiday in Melbourne. Had a great time with my son, Jack... we went to the zoo, aquarium, mini golf, cafes. Couldn't go to the footy coz the weather was so dodgy, but we had a great time anyway.

I'm not an overly private person, so here ya go - Jack and StevieG at the aquarium!!



PS. I've started the Tombs dissection, so should have that up at some stage soon.

danlo, is there anyway to initiate online ordering of the school's t-shirts?
This way the parents can order them impulsively as soon as they see the flyer?

I wish there were...it's a tricky school (semi-impoverished and I don't know if many use or trust the internet to buy). I'm over $400 now need to sell about 5 more to break even. My secretary and I talked to 70% of the classes today and gave the teachers order forms for all the kids--I'll try to post a photo of the shirt, I have to get a photo to put on the school's website, anyway.

Good luck with the t-shirts, danlo -- but it sounds like you won't need it. I'm guessing it would be too much of a pain to set up an online store, unless somebody in the PTA already has one, and/or you would use it for other school fundraisers.

Just broke even on the T-Shirts! Whew! Sounds like tons of parents are coming to our first meeting! (Grace's first real day of kindergarten [she was in the Summer program] and she's really digging it!)
