Yeah, the procedure is a piece of cake. Just make sure Tam drives you home afterward. ;) (Let's not talk about the prep. Bleah.)

Well, they're going to call me when they're ready for me--I hear some fasting is in order and I do have a prescription for something called: GoLyghtly (is that any thing like Holly Golightly, or was she a Bond girl? :P ).

Are not colonics de riguer instead of liquid diets and purging nowadays?
I would much rather go that route, I think...

What Duchess said. That's what they gave me, too. Bleah.

It's not so much the amount of time you spend in the bathroom, it's the volume of pseudo-lemonade you have to drink....

And Holly Golightly was Audrey Hepburn's role in "Breakfast at Tiffany's". :P

So the most fun thing (if not the most interesting thing) I've done so far today is to get free ice cream at work. For no apparent reason, the firm is offering us an ice cream social today. I love it when they have crushed Heath bars as one of the toppings. 8)

Got home today. Have to go back to Hell Mouth (work) tomorrow after a week at the beach. Dreading it. In the morning they are coming to replace our water softening system - thankfully the insurance is paying the $6000 or so dollars for that. :)

Welcome back, Duchess!

I'm sorry to hear you have to return to work without even a day off to readjust to being home, but am ecstatic at the news regarding the insurance pay out. That is awesome!

I got my uni-boot (or soft cast) replaced for the third and last time, scabs are falling off and everything looks a hell of a lot healthier, especially my Achilles tendon area flareup (which until last Monday was considered "hyper-granular" such gross terms... :P ). On Friday I should be able to apply my own light dressing. Done with all the antibiotics and antifungals and was told that I need to move around, That's weird as no one ever gave me a PT schedule, even though wound care is technically part of PT, I thought the swelling in my thigh was from moving around too much, now they say it's probably from sitting around too much... Anyway, look out Tam, Grace and Thor they'll be some walking to do! If we can squeeze it in at 7PM after the 100 degree heat cools off.

So very glad to hear that you are doing better! Yes, walking would probably be very healthy for you at this point! 8)
