Pleasant is the word, Stevie. Those are ideal spring/summer temperatures for me (except for Sunday's high of 29).

Been raining for 2 weeks now. Not cold, but raining. Set to last a little longer still apparently.

The 30s ain't typical, even for Gainesville.

We are having unseasonable cold this winter.

And we generally get more rain in Florida in the summer months. That's our rainy season.

I've never been to Florida in any month other than November-January. I have always thought that the heat and humidity down there in the summer would kill me.

But every time we've been down there in the winter we've had plenty of rainy days. Maybe we just bring crappy weather with us.

It has now made it up to 23 degrees F with wind chill in the single digits at 1330 in the afternoon. We'll be getting more snow tonight.

It's been a cold week. A ferocious and bone-chilling blizzard hit us Monday, dumping a whole lotta snow.
A brutal wind has been keeping things chilly since. Florida looks really, really good right now.
Heck, North Dakota looks good.

Canada is sharing its cold Arctic air with us this weekend. Highs in the teens (F), lows in the single digits and below (F); wind chills unbearable. No snow though; very clear and sunny.

It's all over the place still here - yesterday 35C, today 20C and the next week or so in the high 20s. Fires are raging all over the place...

... and this is a colder part of Oz!

And we've been having floods...

Weather's been stable here: just bloody cold! But yeah, I'll take that over floods any day. Or fires.
I'll make sure to send you and Stevie some of our fine Canadian cold air once I figure out how.

We had a lot of rain today.

And my roof is leaking.
