Heh heh...just from personal observation, I would say our company managers (including my own supervisor) aren't entirely useless. :lol:

Actually, some don't have an assistant, strictly speaking. But yeah, I think some of them would be pretty lost without a secretary.

My favorite part of the exchange was the essence of it: "Yes, I'm ready! Wait, you mean I have to get ready?" :lol:

Today has been kind of frustrating. I've been ready to prepare the visa renewal applications for our team, but the woman who has the file of the apps we did last year has been out of pocket all day. She's usually very responsive and always available, so I'm not faulting her -- it's obvious to me that she's just been jammed and hasn't had time to get back to me. But if I don't have last year's to go by, I'll need to contact the team members and have them fill out their own apps, and it would be good to let them know about that sooner rather than later.

Bah. Tomorrow.

I am happy that we are back to normal temperatures here after two weeks of very abnormal cold (30s F).

Today it is 85 F and sunny.

We were supposed to wake up to crap falling from the sky -- but luckily it stayed warm enough that all we got was rain.
