what's the most interesting thing you've done today?

Calibaby and I had our 24'th wedding anniversary today. We spent a quiet day at home, then went out to dinner at a good nearby diner - we had some fresh snow, and the roads were a bit slick, so did not want to drive too far.

Since I am 45, I have been married more than half my life. Freaks me out! :faint:

MW, yeah, I listen to the local newsradio station in the car most of the time. Sometimes I just turn it off, tho, and enjoy the silence...

The Vancouver Olympic torch relay swung into town today. Its route took it right down the street from my apartment. I just came back from a rally celebrating its arrival. I was half-frozen by the end, but it was all right - just glad it wasn't thirty below! Lots of people turned out, so that was good.

Last Friday I came down with the nasty cold that has been going around at work. I have spent most of my time since getting home from work Friday night in bed trying to get better. Missed a couple of days from work. This is the first day I have actually felt like posting since getting sick, and think I can probably go back to work tomorrow. I am still congested and coughing, but it is not as bad as it was over the weekend and earlier in the week.

My attorney who's been commuting between DC and Mumbai :lol:

is back in DC this week. On Monday, his wife called for him, and told me in passing that Boss was the only one in the family who was healthy -- everyone else had a stomach bug. So I mentioned it to my boss, who joked about it by saying, "They're all just weak." Today, he's home with the stomach bug. :lol:
