No snow but we're in a big cold snap, I'll have to buy some firewood, 'cause we're tearing through it. I also need to disconnect the hoses from the outside faucets and winterize them today. In a long freeze your water pipes can break, and there's no way I can afford a plumbing bill like that right now...

Was warm and humid as blazes when I walked out of work last night at 8pm wearing short sleeves.

Chilly one out there tonight. Was out running errands and it is about 20 degrees F. Should be down in the teens pretty soon!

Yes, colder, and supposedly we will be getting our first big snow dump later this week. Most of the state already has a snow cover of about a foot -for whatever reason we have been lucky, and have not gotten anythng that stayed on the ground more than an hour or two.

*shakes head* That's mental. Just goes to show we're damn adaptable as a species.

Woke up this morning and the ground was covered with snow. There wasn't even snow forecast for last night or this morning. The storm is due in tomorrow and Wednesday!

Ah well, It has already melted off from the roads, and that pleases me greatly.

Really bad winter weather here lately. I feel blessed to have electricity, as the lights have been flickering on and off for about 24 hours now. Strong ice cold knife sharp sustained winds, snow coming down sideways, ridiculously cold, trees and tree branches down everywhere.

Do you have emergency generators, Duchess?

On the rare winter occasion it gets down to 0 C (32 F) overnight. That's hard to bear! But maybe with your dress suggestions MW, I could get by, but -25 C????? That's amazing!
