Good to hear that the fatigue isn't dominating you as it once did, duchess. Still sucks when it hits, though.

Me, I could use some pet therapy myself. Was a long day at work. Good thing it's Friday!

Feel better, Duchess! And TGIF to the rest of y'all! (Well, okay, it's Saturday here now, but still....)

I should explain that the firm offers a party to anybody who reaches the 10-year mark. We also get a plaque and a little bonus and a dinner in May. 8) You can opt out of the party. But I wanted to have one.

Anyhow, my big news today is finishing NaNo. Just got validated tonight as an official winner. Go me! :) The first draft's not totally done, but it's over 50K words, which is all NaNo cares about.

Impressive numbers, Cleburne! Man, I'd drop dead after 1 mile.

I don't smoke, so I have no personal sense of how difficult it is to quit. But it does seem to be one of the hardest things to do. So I wish you success, and hope you don't go crazy in the process!

I had to go to work unexpectedly today, to fill in for co-workers who are either sick or dealing with family emergencies. I only worked 4 hours, saw quite a few patients, and came home and took a nap.

I have been really overtired lately for some reason.

On the plus side:

Whole fambly will be here shortly for sushi take-out dinner. :D

I hope you guys aren't being hit really hard with the flu down there in your hospitals, like we are up here!

I napped most of the day today; must work the next four nights, then will have a week of vacation from work, which I will use to get ready for the holidays.

At least you two guys are still young enough that a lot of the health effects of smoking are reversible. I think.

Good girl. When nasty stuff like that starts going around I work I am notorious for running around and alcoholing off the keyboards, mice, and phones!

Tonight at work it was all about survival. Two people short, and the person who stayed over from day shift to help cover smelled like a small furry creature climbed into her clothing a few weeks ago, died, and has been merrily rotting ever since. I know everyone on day shift complains about the way she smells, but good grief. :faint: I felt I should tell her (I would certainly want to know so I could take care of the problem) but could not figure out a diplomatic way to do so. :|

So how would you guys tell a coworker that she smells as bad as rotting meat? :faint:
