Are amazon or other online book suppliers an option for the other LeGuin books, Stevie?

Have started a detective noir/fantasy crossover called Finch by Jeff Vandermeer. So far it is very good. :tu: I probably won't have time to get much reading done until the weekend, though.

Finished Robin Hobbs " The Dragon Keeper" yesterday ( liked it was quiet good :D ) and while looking at the Fantasy fiction section in Borders Bookshop couldn,t make up my mind what to buy :? . I had Dune in my hand but I,m not sure about it ( Need some advice on wether I should give it a go :?: ), So in the end I decided to continue with Steven Erikson as I gave the series a rest for a few months so I picked up "House Of Chains".

"House of Chains" is just about my favourite of the series so far. I've only read up to this one though. :) I just really enjoyed Karsa Orlong's story.

Indeed he does!

I also enjoyed how the story stayed with him for the first few chapters rather than jumping around all over the place (as per all the other Erikson books I've read so far :) ). It's easier to get into, I suppose.

Karsa just gets better as the books go on. And he's one of the few characters which, IIRC, appears in every subsequent book. (Up to TtH anyway.)

Actually the Chilton edition of Dune was published in 1965!

I'm about 120 pages into Outlander--takes a while to set up I suppose, but I must say that Gabaldon creates some very nicely fleshed out characters (and I don't just mean Mrs. Fitz  ).

Why are we talking Dune in Fantasy? If you don't read it you'll miss one of the tallest pillars in Science Fiction history!
