this is a major bummer .. i've tried and succeeded .. but all the forums were slow and posting was difficult .. like having to select submit .. several times before the post reply window registered ..

and is anyone getting a pop-up ad when you arrive .. i seem to get just the one .. the moment i arrive ..

I got on this morning and it seems like 1 or 2 snuck in there yesterday--but, 4 me, it was basically down all day and night. Sky u seem 2 b the only 1 so far that gets that pop-up... And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

I haven't been able to get there in two days! I'm glad I'm not the only one! I was afraid that something was wrong with my system! I couldn't get on at work yesterday, either.

Also, now when I come to this website, all the emoticons are no longer pictures. They are boxes with little red "x" in them and the little name next to them. Curious.

I've been unable to get in for two days also! I hope everything is OK! I'm sure Vain is working extra hard right now! I remember him posting about a hacker marathon or something where Sunday was supposed to be potentially ugly for many folks. I also read elsewhere that it was all a hoax. ? Here's hoping for the best! Good luck Vain!

I was just there, had a look at a few forums and then I got kicked. Obviously the server is having BULK problems. Nothing Vain can do about it really. We shall just have to ride the storm and cross our fingers that it will all be OK pretty soon. The beauty of life is you don`t have to be modernly beautiful to live it.

I was able to get to KW and post last night with no problem, except that some of the icons came up as x's in boxes.

But that was a minor inconvenience.

yeah i got there today .. but its pretty slow and freaks out easily ..

its no ones fault ... Vain spoke of changing servers .. i think that is the best suggestion yet .. we have had nothing but intermittant trouble with this particular site .. what with hacking/downtimes/ outagers .. etc .. its sad .. cos we thought it would be the best alternative to ez board .. but ez board is a lot more stable it would seem.

the ad problem was a huge pain in the arse .. and our new site saved us from that annoyance .. but has replaced it with others ..

we can endure this irritation .. just for the pure pleasure of accessing the site .. and Vain is pretty much solely responsible for organising the site in such a brilliant way ..

Jay set up the original home .. and organised the original board .. but Vain has given The Watch its current today look and extra fun goodies ..

we have to find a win-win solution .. even if it is changing locations .. 'Smoke me a kipper .. I'll be back for breakfast!
