Bad news for the Wings - Zetterberg out with a groin injury he got in practice. You can never really replace a player that good.

Heal up fast Z-berg!!!!

After a rough start to the season, the Wings have come around and are now in first place in the division, in front of St. Louis.

Looks like the Sabres are doing well so far, too.

What are all of these weird rumors I have been hearing all week about the NHL possibly relocating one of the struggling US southern franchises to Toronto??? What the hell? Shouldn't Winnipeg or Hamilton get a team before Toronto gets a second team?

almost beat Danlo's Av's on Sat, but lost in extra shooters.....

Love it when the Wings go to the west coast. I actually get to see the ends of the games when I get home from work.

Last night was sweet. They came back to tie up the game late in regulation. Then it went through overtime, then to the shootout. How can anyone beat the Wings in a shootout when the Wings put Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Hossa out on the ice?

Wild one at the Joe last night, matching the two Stanley Cup finalist teams from last season. Pens took the game in overtime over the Wings, 7-6. :shock:

Defence did not enter the building last night for either team. :lol:

Tons of empty seats, as the horrible Michigan economy continues to keep fans away.

I watched some of that game Duchess - the Pens made an unbelievable comeback....

My Sabres came out swinging against St. Louis last night, scored 3 goals in the first 5 minutes.....and managed to squeek out a 4-3 victory - talk about giving me a heart attack!! First time in 13 yrs we beat the Blues at home :!:

My Sabres are really playing erratically lately.
Coming out like wild men at the beginning of the game, only to let thier lead slip away - man do we need a new direction if we expect to compete for the Stanley Cup...
I know its still early, but now is the time to get the wins under your belt..

another uninspired effort by the Sabres last night - not sure whats happening, even the goaltending is slipping, which used to be our strong suit......

Got to watch a great one on TV tonight.

Wings playing the Flames at the Joe. The Wings were down 3-1 in the third. They came back to tie the game. Then our captain, Nicky Lidstrom, put in the game winner late in overtime. :mrgreen:

my Sabres actually pulled one out last night
A lot of local talk about Galisano selling the team, but a flat denial by team pres. Larry Quinn yesterday....wait & see I guess

Well, in Buffalo, it officially changed to hockey season after the Bills blundered they're way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and are out of the play.

They Sabres have been playing better lately and hopefully will get a good run going here.

Go Sabres!!!!!
