Opening day is on Monday, but there is a 70% chance of rain.

But at least its not snow! :wink:

Man, this afternoon I remembered one of the weirdest Tigers events in my lifetime (even though it happened in Chicago, and was the fault of those asstard Sox fans). Disco Demolition Night!!!!! Holy crap. Talk about promotions gone wrong. :shock:

If you are unaware of the event of which I am speaking, google for it. It is a Detroit legend, even though it did not happen in Detroit. :lol:

Everything weird always happens to the Tiggies! :razz:

(I was actually reading one of the many histories of the Tiggies, and thought of Disco Demolition Night for the first time in years. Both appalling and hilarious!!! Both Detroit TV commentators - the incomparable team of Al Kaline and George Kell - just about gave birth to litters of puppies that night!!!) :lol:

Ah, Grilli. I do not know what religion you belong to, but if you are Catholic, they should make you the patron saint of incompetant employees everywhere - no matter how badly your perform and how poorly you produce, you get to keep your job.

But Grilli - at least you go not have an amazingly fugly beard like Bobby Jenks has grown since last season.

Jenks can keep the fugly beard, if Grilli can get of his good pitching. :wink:

Now I've got two Tiggies on the DL but hopefully Granderson and Sheffield will be both playing after the weekend.

Go Angels! Looking good even with Lackey out and Escobar out for most of the season.

Well yesterday Mr. Sunshine and I went out to eat lunch at a place where we could watch the Tigers game on tv. Bad decision. :wink:

This afternoon we're going to our favorite sports bar/restaurant to have an early dinner and watch the Tigers. At least we'll have good food while watching what will probably be a disaster. :wink:

I have a really bad feeling about Dontrelle Willis's first Al start today... :shock:
