It's quiet on the Watch, in part, because Sgt. Null is AWOL-this July was the poorest posting month in 15 months. I've been working (yes at a real job) for a few days and trying to say a few things here-I stayed up till 1 last night listening to all the Hangar YouTubes in Vespers...so I was here...

...my laptop is dying...a slow prolonged death...

Rebooting takes forever, something that should be instantaneous (like the blue screen between "loading your personal settings" and the launch of my desktop) takes an hour alone, things that actually take time to process is taking several hours. And once it is finished rebooting, as soon as I go to do something, it either goes into dimmed screen where I can't see my cursor, much less read any text and doesn't come out of it unless I reboot again, or puts itself into stand-bye.


This has been continuing for the past half year or so; I even posted about it when it first started in the Loresraat. The suggestions there have kept her running for this long after, but today I could not get her fully rebooted at all.

So, once again...hello from UF's architecture computer lab, where as long as you have a valid account and password, access is free 24/7, except during intercession....

And JENN!! Woo-hoo!! Welcome girlfriend!
