Geese are fascinating to watch -- they always leave very alert sentries to watch over the flock while the rest graze the grass, but you are right, the droppings are nasty.

He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

The county waterpark complete with swimming lake AND wave pool is only a couple of miles from our house. Every Friday this summer when we're home and the weather is nice, I'll be taking my sons!
