I listened to a CD I bought with a holiday giftcard this evening. It was of highlights from Mozart's opera The Magic Flute. This is the second of Mozart's operas I have listened to, the first being Don Giovanni, which I was fortunate enough to be able to hear live on stage.

The music in The Magic Flute sure seemed to be a lot more light hearted than that of Don Giovanni. It would probably be a fun thing to see on stage. ******************************************************

I've been listening to a lot of Bach and Debussy lately, too. <i></i>

Today I am listening to one of my all time favorite jazz albums, Manceo Parker's Life on Planet Groove. Anyone who thinks jazz is stuffy should give this one a listen. It's wildly fun and funky, and you can't sit still in your chair during some of the songs. You have to move. So I'm spending my afternoon paying the bills and listening to funky music, and dancing in my chair.
