Listening 2 The Best of the Rippingtons (and waiting 4 Duchy 2 post-blindside me at the Watch! ) And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Ahira, Ahira, he called out silently to the sky. Ahira, Ahira

heh. Maybe the chilly fall mornings and evenings are getting to me this week, 'cause I'm listening to some Southern rock bands -- the Doobie Brothers, Black Crowes, Lynard Skynard...

And I also like the Rippingtons, Danlo -- mellow jazz, nice to snuggle with your sweetie in front of the fireplace kind of music...

I've also been in a Gershwin mood lately...Rhapsody in Blue...

Oh, and in anticpation of New Mexico and Arizona, I've been listening to the Grand Canyon Suite -- and a lot of Ottmar... Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

I'm in a Dr. Demento mood today. ________________

Next thing you know we'll hear, Lets Go Poisoning Pigeons in the Park" by Tom Lehrer! And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. why, as a matter of fact, Grateful Dead.....

Down in the west Texas town of El Paso,
I fell in love with a Mexican girl...

They do a great cover of the old Marty Robbins tune.

I've been listening to A Perfect Circle's new CD, The 13th Step. Even if this isn't your usual thing, I'd definately recommend listening to a few of the tracks. Especially The Nurse Who Saved Me, The Noose, The Package, and The Outsider... ok, all of 'em, but especially those. ________________

Dark Hollow...

I'd rather be in some dark hollow, where the sun don't ever shine, than to be home alone, knowing that you're gone, it would cause me to lose my mind.. Cripple but free; I was blind all the time I was learning to see
