I just want to add that the above post was Calibaby using my sign in again. I'll have to think of some way to get him for that later! ******************************************************

There is a reason why duchess does not do football picks. Therefore any picks that come from the State of Michigan from her sign on name are not her intellectual property.

Sunshine agonized over these picks taking me down to the last second

Indy
Dallas
Atlanta
Tampa
Cincy
da Bears
Denver
Philly
Arizona
NE
JETS
NO
Wash
SD 17-14
And last and probably least the Lions suck; Seattle wins

Cali says that the winners will be

NOT THE LIONS (Seattle wins)
Giants
Dallas
Carolina
TBay
NEW eng
KC
da Bears
Denver
Philly
Arizona
Tennessee
Cleve
Wash (PTI is at 3:30 so Tony can make it to the game)
SD 31-20
for duchess

of note the Big Red Bulldog appears to be on the injured list this year (oops new info, he will probably redshirt this year -- college you know)

If Washington wins (trivia: The Redskins have lost their past five as MNF hosts) Mr. S cruises to victory, If the Vikings win we should have a 3 way tiebreak.

late MNF result:
I guess the debate as to best runningback has been solved (at least for week one) as LT (LaDainian Tomlinson) rushes for 131 yds and a TD-and most of that in the 1st quarter!!!! Oh, yeah Aaron Brooks sacked 9 (I'm serious) times!!!! San Diego 27-Already "Faded" 0.

final standings:
Because she had the lowest predicted score of the final game-the winner of week one is Hippigirl!!!!!! 12-4*
Mr. Sunshine 12-4*
danlo 12-4*
jelerak 9-7
mhoram 9-7
clearfrontier 9-7 (aTOMiC)
reaper 9-7
Damelon 9-6
dANoMITE 8-8
diamondraught 8-8 (Dromond)
agunslinger 8-8
Earthblood 7-9
californiababy 7-9
kinslaughterer 7-9

*: participated in a tie break (bonus points)

As you'll notice hippigirl's name is on the marquee all week-Week two's schedule will be up in about a half hour. Thanks for playing and remember to make all your picks (including the MNF score) by 11am Mountain Standard Time Sunday, Sept 17th.

You change make your picks anytime this week--but if you make a change it must be edited before 11 on Sun!

Why Seattle? Do you think last week was a fluke and Alexander and Jackson will run wild? Will Branch get into the mix fast enough? I think it will be high scoring I think Fitz and Boldin will go crazy but one Seattle lapse on D and Edge could break it big time. If that doesn't do it a long Rackers FG will. *****
