Here is week 8!!!

One or two picks are very hard--the rest not so if you favor the oddsmakers and homefield advantage:

Oakland at Tennessee
Cleveland at Houston
Washington at NY Gaints
Jacksonville at St. Louis
Gren Bay at Cincinnati
Minnesota at Carolina

afternoon games:
Miami at New Orleans at LSU
Kansas City at San Diego
Philadelphia at Denver
Tampa Bay at San Francisco

late game:
Buffalo at New England

MNF:
Baltimore at Pittsburg

My pix:
Thomas Jones keeps on running as win a close one.
Dallas
Well I was wrong with Moss alive and McNair out last week, but for now I'll take a rested Air at home with the stronger D: Titans, for now...
Almost impossible the pick the Toilet Bowl but Hou can't protect Carr and Cleve just barely has better tools--I say Texans DONT break losing streak.
Will Wash's magic continue? Two great D's, two hot QBs, will Portis make the difference? I'll have to pick later: along with Philly/Den the toughest game of the week to call...OK--I really don't want either team to win but I'll go with Giants and Shockey at home.
Despite no real running game and the oddsmakers I'll go nuts and pick Jax in that bad ol' dome.
Bengals have a heck of alot of pieces to pick up after last weeks debacle---but I'll pick Cats by a whisker (because Ferguson and Green are out).
Carolina
NO--fish have too many injuries
San Diego must win or season is over...
TO and the Halloween monster:Kearse lead over Den.
Simms (or simply the best D) beats whoever's 8ers QB
will Vinateri make the dif one last time?
With Ward and Ben back and Lewis and Reed out, it's a cakewalk for Willie and 37-9

Why did I change my fish pick? And why does the afternoon always do me in? On the bright side I think I won both of my Fantasy Football games and the Chargers won! So here we go!

early/afternoon results:
Drew Brees 327 yds 3 TDs, A. Gates 3 TDs & L.T. throws another TD: SD 28 KC 20. Broncos absolutely maul Philly (McNabb was actually -2 in FF at the half) Plummer throws 4 count 'em 4 TDs, Anderson and Bell rush for 234 yds and 3 TDs-Den 49 Eggs 21. Everyone probably lost this game as Chris Simms did his best Tommy Maddox impersonation and Joe Nedney's 5 FGs tanks Bucs: 15-10. I picked fish originally why the heck did I ever think LSU had a chance (where's my old whack emote when I need it?) Mia 21 NOthing 6. Jones fumbles and disappears in OT but Orton plays well and Tillman intercepts Garcia and runs in the winning TD prevail 19-13. Collins 3 TDs, Porter catches 2 of them Oak 34 Midgets 25. Aside from 1 passing TD from Eli to Jeremy it's really hard to figure out how the Giants scored so much (I think their D had at least 2 TDs) perhaps Wash hasn't played a real team until now? NY 36 disgraced Gibbs gets the goose egg! Both of my QBs in FF had awesome days: Jake even more awesome than Drew: 3 TDs 341 yds, Steven Davis 2 TDs, Car 38 Minn 13. Barber 2 rush TDs: Dall 34 Rackers 13. Carson holds off Brett 21-14. Very sad when you rush for 172 yds (S. Jackson) and no TDs but Curtis cathes 2 of them; St. L. 24 Jax 21. Brown's 3 FGs are the dif as Hou wins it's 1st game 19 Cleve 16.

early/afternoon standings:
Mr. Sunshine 9-3
diamondraught 8-4
Damelon 8-4
californiababy 8-4
clearfrontier 8-4
dAN 7-5
Bigredbulldog 7-5
kinslaughterer 7-5
Earthy 6-6
danlo 6-6

It looks like: already has it wrapped up! *****

5 people in double figures! Good going all! Next week is a cool week to pick and the Indy/NE game should be really good--I'll update the composite on Thursday. *****

Wright actually looked like he could play QB, to some degree, last week, and Chad Johnson, historically, hasn't fared well against Balt--then again Ed Reed was probably facing him down . I smell upset and Jamal taking off: Ravens in a squeaker.
Miami's getting better but Falcons D is better. Go Chargers! With Jake, Steve and Stephen ready to score and only Galloway firing Panthers win, but really don't score that much. Jacksonville at home. This is a weird game to call: K. Jones and Pollard vs a steadier attack with Brad at Vikes' controls-don't be surprised if I switch back to Lions, but Johnson utilizes Burleson properly for first time this year: Vikes with a FG (watch K. Jones kick my butt on this one). Another toughy: I say Gonzales' emergence, Dante Hall and a key INT win it for KC-possibility of a very high scoring game. Another weirdo: odds say that McNair & Roby can beat Cleve--Tenn's D is just too good.

Probably won't be pretty but NYG on the road. Same thing here: Alexander outrushes Rackers FGs, Sea, by a nose. Redskins (ugly aft. all around) Jones and Muhammad outlast Aints.

by 6 in a low scoring game.

Indy 27 NE 20 *****
