early results:
I don't know who won the INT derby between Harrington and Culpepper, but they both stunk up a storm as club cats 38-6 and Big cats: Bengals destroy Minn 37-8. One of my bold predictions came true as McNabb passes for 5 TDs, 2 to TO and knock 8ers into the bay: 42-3. beats the heat and Bills 19-3, to start 2-0! . Willie runs and Hines 2 TDs as stomp Hou 27-7. Peyton looks crappy, but Indy has D? (huh?) they squeak past Jax: 10-3. Steven Davis is BACK! 2 TDs as Panthers throw Brady into a hissy fit 27-17. Finally Tenn stops Balt and Lewis cold: 23-12.

early standings:
Gods I'm such a wuss: I chickend out at the last minute from switching to the Panthers, but I think we all lost that game. Bigred forgot to pick the St. L/AZ game...

diamondraught 6-2
cali 5-3
clear 5-3
mhoram 5-3
Mr. S. 5-3
danlo 5-3
dAN 4-4
Earthy 4-4
Bigred 4-4
kins 3-5

afternoon results:
Dang! Actually all the Michigan boys failed to pick the St. L/AZ game (even tho I pmed duchy twice). I couldn't stand Mr. Schotenmierer for the last 3 quaters-no inventive play calling at all--not Brees' fault! Broncs outlast Boltz: 20-17. Man the Pack sucks, even the Brownies beat them: 26-24. Sea 21, Alt 18. St. L 17, AZ 12, Jets tan fish: 17-7.

afternoon standings:
diamondraught 8-5
danlo 8-5
mhoram 8-5

I'll just say now - ditto my remarks after last weeks games.... - I can't seem to pick any right.

And, BTW, JP Losman needs a LITTLE more practice & a MUCH better game plan!!!! Cripple but free; I was blind all the time I was learning to see

...sorry dAN!

but it looks like mhoram shows up his first week and pastes us all by going 2-0 on Monday night!

Monday night results:
Giants 27 Saints 10, is there something to Eli after all?
Wash skins Boys as ancient Brunell rumbles for 24 yards and connects a prayer to S. Moss 14-13. Redskins are 2-0? Say WHAT!?!

final standings:
mhoram 11-5
cali 9-6
danlo 9-7
diamondraught 9-7
Bigred 8-7
clear 8-8

Yeah, what's up with the Dallas D? Even if they couldn't grab Brunell, they could have at least tried to kick his walker out from under him...... "But I didn't. I only knew that you'd know that I knew. Did you know that?" - Casanova Frankenstein

(early games)
Atlanta at Buffalo - 14 4th quarter points by Atlanta will make the score seem closer than it really is.

Carolina at Miami - Panthers, not that it matters.

Cincinnati at Chicago - Cincinnati; sorry Bears, you can't play Detroit every week!

Cleveland at Indianapolis - Indy; go ahead, you fantasyfootballidiot.comedians; go ahead and laugh about how Dilfer beat Manning last week in fantasyland. This week it's reality.com, and the Brown will go down!

Jacksonville at N.Y. Jets - @#%$; nobody cares, but I'll pick the Jets, because at least they know what the hell a green jersey should look like.

New Orleans at Minnesota - ahh, the battle of the two tragic teams. Well, I predict Daunte performs another cat. 5 turnover effort, and the Saints win in a 48-10 nailbiter.

Oakland at Philadelphia - heh. hehHEHheh. The only thing that can stop TO now is Moss's front bumper.

Tampa Bay at Green Bay - Tampa. I'm not seeing much of a GB defense this year, and Cadillac will have no problems keeping his offense on the field, letting his D stay nice and fresh, just like last week.

(afternoon games)
Tennessee at St. Louis - Finally, the Superbowl XXXIV rematch we've all been waiting for! God only knows who will win, what the score will be, or pretty much anything, because these teams rank 1 & 2 in the NFL for INCONSISTENCY. Still, I like the Rams, in 11.

Arizona at Seattle - Uhh, do I have to pick one? Okay, Seattle. But don't be surprised if they choke. Again.

Dallas at San Francisco - Dallas won't screw up the 4th quarter this time; count on it. Even if they do, I doubt SF will be able to make up the 28 point deficit they'll be in by then....

New England at Pittsburgh - this will be one hell of a game. I'm going with NE, because I think last week was just a fluke. Still, Pittsburg will give them all they can handle. I consider this to not be a review of last year's AFC championship game as much as a preview of thist year's AFC championship game.

(late game)
N.Y. Giants at San Diego - San Diego is SO awesome!!, Go Chargers!! Brees, McCardell, Davis, Caldwell, LT & Gates, who I used to hate, but now I just looooove, are gonna hold the ball longer, run up more yardage, commit less turnovers and penalties, and still lose to the Giants.

Monday, Sept. 26
Kansas City at Denver - KC, 31 - 28. Or Denver. No, Kansas.

Tampa Bay at Green Bay - BUCS

(afternoon games)
Tennessee at St. Louis - RAMS
Arizona at Seattle - SEAHAWKS
Dallas at San Francisco - COWBOYS
New England at Pittsburgh - PATS

N.Y. Giants at San Diego - CHARGERS
