Actually, I nearly called you Thursday afternoon, Damelon. I didn't know if Chicago had power or not and was worried about you being trapped in your downtown office. Then when I made it over to one of the old buildings where the generators were running, they said the middle of Michigan was as far west as it went...
I hope they figure out what went wrong, so it doesn't happen again.

And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

WOOOHOOO! We finally have a new Master Pilot: Highdrake! Outrageous! Outstanding! Way 2 go Pilot! And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. YEA! I finally got the job I've been after as a Teaching Asst., AND at Tamara's old High School, btw--the 1st step on the road 2 bcoming a teacher!!! I'm SO happy! Free drinks all week!
