let me say that diving headfirst into the high school experience with a 16 1/2 year old has been like diving into ice water - what a wake up!!!!
sports practice, games "no I don't have any homework", "what's to eat?", "Can I go to this kids house? Who is it? I don't know. Where is it? I don't know. Are parents going to be home? I don't know. Text at 11 for us to pick you up. OK! 10:55pm: Can I go to this other kids house?..(repeat previous conversation, only via text...)"
Man, my parents are somewhere up there looking down on me laughing thier ASSES off!!!

It's really all good, I just never considered how tired (read crazy ) it would make me.
My 12 year old doesn't realize it, ut his high school experience is being planned & measured out now...

Sorry I've been so slack recently...haven't been going online from home much recently, for no particular reason, and don't have enough time to do the Hangar and the Watch at work. Weak, I know.

Don't worry, I'm, suddenly into, like, breathing. weird I know. I've been going non stop for the last two months and suddenly, today, I have everything done-so I don't know what to do with myself. Of course I should be posting Chapt 1 of TFS, but I'm giving myself the day off from EVERYTHING!

What else is going on? Well I'm listening to bad 80s music on the radio. Brought in 550.00 dollars on the PTA chocolates fundraiser in just 5 days. My leg's getting better! I know, it was strange, the calf kept swelling and giving me headaches whenever I took off my compression sock for the last 3 months, but I took off the sock for the whole day on Sunday and it didn't really bother me or swell, until about 10PM. Don't worry I'm still wearing it when I run around, but there's some marked improvement going on--the scarrings disappearing too, slowly but...a very good sign.

Took Grace to our first 3-D movie on Friday, Legend of the Guardians: Owls of Gahoole--great for kids, boring for adults, the technology was mind blowing!!! Oh crap KISS is playing...excuse me while I shoot the radio---

Some of my hallmates in college dressed up as Kiss for the annual Gay Ball at Halloween one year....

It started working again right after I posted here and at the wobbly board. I think I just had to tell on it.

Nothing new to report here. Things are actually kind of not-busy at work today. (I refuse to mention the "Q" word -- it only tempts the gods. )
