Well, it looks like I'll be here for about one more month and then I'm off to live in Norfolk, VA (stationed on the USS Mt. Whitney www.mtwhitney.navy.mil/ma...UTSHIP.HTM ) for the next 2.5-3 years.

Right now I'm just a plain old Electronics Technician (basically, I fix really expensive radios). I used to be a linguist (intel stuff).

no need for the tears (unless you were hoping to get rid of me ). the ship only deploys about three months a year (short deployment compared to the majority), and even then, considering the type of ship, I'll have regular 'net access.

It ain't Sicily, but it'll be alright.
