It's been ffffffrrrreeezzzing cold here, but most of our snow is gone. We had this bad windstorm a few nights ago and most of it was blown away...I want some of Ms. Mary's sunshine. Can you please fed-ex some of it up North?? Ankh-Morpork people considered that spelling was a sort of optional extra. They believed in it the same way they believed in punctuation; it didn't matter where you put it, so long as it was there.~Terry Pratchett

:raver Let's do an xchange! We desperately need snow, rain, moisture of any type down here in NM! Last month set the record for arv high at 62 with not measurable parcipitation (needed some water! ). Hey! Welcome a new Watch person: Isengrim (Ryzel)! And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

I have to do the mommy thing now and brag about my older son, who just got a medal (fourth place) at his high school league wrestling championship meet. Go Bigredbulldog! 112 pounds of fourteen year old fighting fury!

Good Job bulldog!!!! Hey it snowed here last night!! 2 inches, ANY moisture (@all) is a BIG deal in NM!!!! And now Danlo looked in that direction, too. He remembered that snowy owls mate in the darkest part of deep winter, and so along with this beautiful white bird perched in a tree a hundred feet away, he turned to face the sea as he watched and waited.

Then you guys have more snow than we do! Maybe your drought is over?? Ankh-Morpork people considered that spelling was a sort of optional extra. They believed in it the same way they believed in punctuation; it didn't matter where you put it, so long as it was there.~Terry Pratchett

I hear you Mhoram - we've had in the range of 50-60" so far this winter. Got another 4-6 today. I think all the snow from Mi has blown across the lakes & landed in my yard & driveway!!!

God! - pour me a drink & fire up the tolache!!!

A little Bodeans on the jukebox would fire things up!!!
and

Can't complain too much - we've never had a serious drought in my lifetime, anyhoo...

(rain dance for Danlo & Sky )

snow is gorgeous, but I hate driving in it! Ankh-Morpork people considered that spelling was a sort of optional extra. They believed in it the same way they believed in punctuation; it didn't matter where you put it, so long as it was there.~Terry Pratchett

So here is where you all hang out. I figured I'd use my day off to check the place out. It's sure too cold to do much outside (3 F) now. I like that one

Woooo Hoooo! You made it over here!
Did you guys over in Chicagoland have that awful blizzard last night, too? After driving home in the middle of the night in those winds I wish I could have the day off, too!
And I'm sure several more inches of snow got blown across the Lakes to Earthblood's driveway! With those winds, maybe even all the way to Mhoram's! Our lives are the songs that sing the universe into existence.~David Zindell

Thanks for the welcome.

I made the big mistake of driving downtown yesterday. On the way home I got caught in it. It didn't snow much, less than an inch, but the wind was gusting up to 40mph. It was pretty miserable for about 10 miles. Edited by: danlo60 at: 5/7/03 3:59:29 pm
