Given all that has been going on with Furls this autumn, and the fact that one of the main posters over at the Martin board died unexpectedly and suddenly from a heart attack at a very young age this summer, I will admit that I am twitchy these days when people I am used to seeing on a regular basis suddenly vanish. :faint:

I am glad all is well with Danlo! :sky:

Fastest line it's possible to get right now in this country is 4Mb. They're testing 8. But you pay through your nose for it. Problem here isn't so much speed, as how much they charge for traffic.

Looks like danlo's gotten to the eggnog...

Have a nice and restful holiday, everyone! (I wanna emphasize the restful part.)

Since last Friday I've put in long hours assisting with the company move and throwing out tons of garbage (pretty sure that's not an exaggeration). The insanity is over...for now. No rest for the weary, however. I'll be spending the next few days of my Xmas break cleaning up my apartment, which right now is a disaster area because I've been too tired after work to do domestic chores. Haven't even bought any wine or cider for Christmas Eve. Going to make up for that come Boxing Day.

I might go see Avatar tomorrow. (The James Cameron movie, not the dude in SA!) Or maybe I won't. A co-worker gave it a thumbs up in any case.

I, too, work during the holidays. In fact, I am at work right now, though I will be off tomorrow (Christmas Day). This year I get to work both Eves + New Year's Day. At least I am off for one of the four - all too often over the years I get stuck with all four of them. Am also off for Saturday and Sunday after Christmas, so have a three day weekend and am planning on resting.

For those of you who get off of work for any significant amount of time at the holidays - you have my envy! :razz:

And for everyone - hope you have a wonderful winter holiday of whatever stripe you celebrate, and have a joyful end of the year! :sky:
