Winter is coming! BRRRRRRR!!

Crazy weather this week! :box:

Friday and Saturday it was awrm and sunny and gorgeous. Then on Sunday it started to rain...today alone we have gotten more than an inch of rain. Tomorrow evening and Wednesday the rain is supposed to switch over to snow (yes- yes- we know that it is nearly May!!). :box:

Then on Thusday and the weekend it is supposed to be sunny and nearly seventy! :mrgreen:

I am really hoping we will not be chasing the snow across the mountains of Pennsylvania and New York on Friday for our drive.

It looks like we'll be spared the crazy weather this week. It was wet and cold on Sunday, but that's all blown away now, and the forecast calls for sunny skies the rest of the week. Which will be a mighty relief to those in and around the city concerned about flooding.

High of 16°C today...and this is gonna be my first winter in two years...I'm already freezing. :lol:

We had three days of rain and cool temperatures at the beginning of the week. But today is sunny and in the 60s, tomorrow is supposed to be in the 70s, and we're to hit the 80s this weekend. Welcome to DC, where we turn off the heat one day and turn on the a/c the next day.... :lol:

We had a lovely weekend last weekend, too. I suppose if we *must* have rain, I'd rather it come during the work week, so that the weekends are nice.

It's been 82 the past two days...sucks :wink:

(almost burned my hand on the grill). I'm happy but exhausted between running Thor dog in the desert and running up and down the street after a 4 year old on her brand new Tinkerbelle bike for forty minutes yesterday. Been working hard today but yesterday, Elora Grace's birthday, is starting to catch up with me. :mrgreen:

Min temps for the next week all forecast below 10°C. Max in the low twenties, but it's damn cold at night and in the morning. (As far as I'm concerned anyway.

Approaching summer nice hot day yesterday but today it rained all day and the forecast is the same for tomorrow 12c. :razz:

It was freakin' *hot* this weekend. More like June than April. Supposed to hit 90 F again today, then cool down a bit. Hopefully it won't rain this weekend -- I'm supposed to go backpacking.

Although it means double-posting: It *did* rain last weekend while we were backpacking. But it was a fun trip anyhow.

We've had, like, 10 days straight of rain here. The sun has finally come out today -- yay! -- but there's still a chance of thunderstorms today and tomorrow. Sunday will be our first day without a threat of rain in about two weeks. Yay!

Urgh, sorry about the snow, MW!

Sunday was beautiful. Yesterday it rained again. :razz:

Today it's sunnier, tho a little chilly. Later in the week, we should be back in the 70s.

Hoping for sunshine and comfortable temps in Roanoke this weekend, when Batty graduates from college; the ceremony will be outdoors, rain or shine.
