I hope they did pay you OT, Moonwatcher. (Yay for OT!)
I feel like I've finally reached the end of a long tunnel. We had our final Czech class of the semester on Saturday. Dunno why this has felt like such a slog this semester -- maybe because we met every Saturday with no weeks off. Anyway, the classes are on the north side of Baltimore, about 1.5 hours northeast of my apartment. As soon as class (and lunch, yum) was over Saturday, I got in the car and drove to Roanoke, which is about 3 hours southwest of my apartment. Mapquest sent me on a route that didn't go past the apartment, and actually saved me about 15 min. But still, it was a long day -- up at 6:30am, drive 1.5 hours to class, 2-ish hours of class, another hour or so for the luncheon, then 4.25 hours in the car to Roanoke.

And I still wasn't done! Because then I had dinner with the girls, and then we saw "Chicago" (college production -- see below), and then I sat up and visited with Magickmaker for a couple of hours.

The Hollins Theater Dept. did a great job on the musical, btw. They brought in a professional choreographer and costumer. And the set was pretty darn amazing -- marquee lights, prison bars that raised/lowered like a curtain (the raising/lowering was Magickmaker's job

), and a section in the middle of the stage that moved in and out of the scene by hydraulics.
Yesterday we went out to brunch. Then Magickmaker went to the theater for the matinee performance, and I got to visit with Batty and Shara_Lunison for a few hours. Then I drove home. Pretty tired today....
