But I don't think that's what Mhoram meant by the chat - there's a new chat link under the banner of KW, apparently an IRC chat or something of that sort.

And I figured out today that I was able to get into KW yesterday cause I was already logged in on Safari. I logged out as an experiment and tried logging in again, and got an error message, albeit a different one than I got with IE. "Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?"<i></i>

I dropped off at the Watch this afternoon to see if there was a reply to a message I had sent someone a couple of days ago.

It looks very different there today...I did not see any Donaldson forums other than Mordant's Need?

I know I've been busy lately and have been out of any loops...but was this a planned make-over of some sort? ******************************************************

I think something very bad might have happened. Now the only thing showing at the Watch is a big graphic saying that it has been hacked.

I hope the Dissections of the Chronicles, Mordant, and the first mystery book have not been erased.

I was in chat briefly over there, that still works, and Alyanna said Vain is in the process of being contacted--but that could take about a day, or more. Vain told me once that he had it backed up and I believe that phpBB does do full data back-up, contrary to our friends at EZboard. <i></i>

Strange times at the Watch. Hope Vain can get things back together.

I just hope Vain can salvage the Stehpen C. Memorial thread and the forementioned dissections. To me those have always been the heart and soul of the Watch.

It's genuine. The guy who did it posts links to each site he hits on the forums at the place he put a link up for, and sure enough KW is there. Vain has a backup, should contain all the threads up to a recent date, so no worries. ------------------
