Man, I can't wait to be on the road to Denver! Between the renovations, stress and internet burnout I really do need a vacation :faint:

Just finished my last early shift (up at 4.30 am!) and now have six glorious days off. The fun starts now.

Wow, the moon was gorgeous last night - big and bright and full.

I think I could have sat out on my front porch and read a book by its light last night.

Hope it will be that beautiful and bright for you partiers out in the Rockies. :lol:

This past week was crazy at work. Thankfully, things should be really slowing down now that we're approaching July. It's good for me, anyway.

I'm glad it's a sunny weekend so far. Going to a friend's place this afternoon for coffee and also meet her cat. :mrgreen:

We are under a severe thunderstrom watch this afternoon and this evening. Of course this afternoon is when we were supposed to go to a big outdoor party at the private lake belonging to a family of friends.

They have a picnic shelter at the lake, but...

Heh, about an hour after I posted that it was sunny, a mass of clouds moved over my neighborhood and delivered several thundershowers, one quickly after another. I could see blue skies mere blocks away, but the storm clouds were right on top of us. However, it was nice going out and taking in that refreshing "after the rain" smell.

Hope that outdoor party went well...unless you didn't go, of course.
