Sorry I've been a little incommunicado here-here are the updates: After 3 months we had to turn Mr. Hayden Joe over to his great aunt and uncle-it's was very painful, but not as much as the boys--it helps knowing he is is good hands and Miss Elora keeps us happy. Great day to turn him over-Nov. 8th Tam's birthday!

Right now we're in the process of remodeling our kitchen and we've been sink-less and dishwasher-less for 3 days. So eating out alot and using the b-room sink alot. The cabinet makers have installed the upper cabinets and the bottom ones go in today-they're Tuscan style with a big arch over the sink-ash with red oak finish-stunning (I'll post a pic or two when we're done). It'll have a drop in large/small sink and a garbage disposal covered with large granite tiles. The electricians have been all over the place building a big new transformer and running in five lines of up-to-date power. So the super fancy oven will finally be working after sitting here for
6 months!!!
The plumbers are about to arrive and rebuild the drains and vent-then the cabinetmaker comes in right after them-fix the wall, install, drop in the sink and prep for the tilers. Then the plumbers come back and then the tilers arrive first thing tomorrow. Are we done, no...our super fancy permanent dishwasher, that was guaranteed to arrive last Monday has hit a "manufacturer's delay" and won't come until the 21st-but the plumbers have promised to hook it up the second it arrives.
Whew!
Just in time for the sis-in-law's arrival on Thanksgiving! (I pray)
