Jack Williamson (1908-2006) died on Friday November 10 in Portoles NM. He wrote much loved fiction in the 1930s - 1905s. In addition to winning Hugos and Nebulas , he won a Pilgrim award from SFRA, he'd wrote a critical analysis of H.G. Wells fiction. Additionally, he was the second person to be awarded the Grand Master Award by SFWA, and he'd been a past president of SFWA.

So I browsing through old topics and found a Jack Williamson topic thread on this bullentin board. taraswizard

I can't believe I didn't see this topic till just now. A Sci-Fi Master! He's been very frail for the last 3 years. Safe passage scribe! Also a very good children's Sci Fi author!
