Hello there, Le Guin fans! I am delighted to find this forum, as I've been poking about, looking for a place to discuss Le Guin and her wonderful ideas for some time.

I already posted in the "Tehanu" thread, and was asked how I found The Immanent Grove -- really just a lot of clicking and checking things out. I participate in forums at the Dreamers of Dune fan site, which is really the only other message board I've been active in. But ever since discussing Dune on line, I've been craving the opportunity to chat with other Le Guin fans. Unfortunately, it's hard to find such discussions!

First I looked at the sci fi forums, but mostly ran into RPG and a lot of Trek/StarWars/etc. (i.e., more popular) info and fans and discussions. All very well, but not really my thing. I tried searching for "Ursula K. Le Guin" which pretty much took me back to the same bunch of forums, wihtout much Le Guin in them, as far as I could tell. Kind of dissappointing, and I figured at best I'd be discussing Le Guin within discussions about other sci fi and fantasy stories.

For some reason, finally, the other day I searched on just "Le Guin" and got one hit: Ahira's Hanger, by which I found this forum. I'm so glad I did -- I'm in the middle of re-reading Earthsea for the 6th or 7th time, so perfect timing for me, let me tell you!
