Well, I pre-ordered the book. Let's see what happens.

Pre-pub price is super cheap.

Apparently Amazon in Germany accidentally shipped out the book two weeks early! Beware of spoilers and book summaries in your internet travels!

So the book must exist (at least in German), and the rest of us should be getting it next week.

I bought it for the Reader and downloaded it this morning. Didn't check to see whether there was actually anything in the file, tho. Maybe I should have, huh?

Martin sounds like he's way overcommitted, if you ask me... Altho I did like his comment about writing the HBO script. That's one advantage of novel writing -- the CGI budget is unlimited.

I was so tempted to get the eBook, since I knew that I would be on vacation when the book was released. But I didn't want to piss off my family engrossed in a book on a family vacation.
