I am halfway through Game of Thrones and I cannot figure out where the Dothraki live. I cannot find any of the villages or any landmarks that the sections on Dany mention. Did I miss something? Why aren't this places on the map?

If you can answer this without any spoiler, I would be much appreciative.

Oh, they are on a different continent from Westeros! The two surviving Targ children fled far, far away! The Dothraki live across the sea, in an ocean of grass.
