Have you ever been somewhere that immediately made you think of a place in a Donaldson novel or short story?
A beautiful castle like Orison? A place of glowing beauty like the Land? A sleezy bar like in the opening of
The Man Who Killed His Brother?
Here is one such place for me:
It is a restaurant in the middle of a state park in Wisconsin. I felt like I was dining in a woodhelvin village, as the restaurant has liviing tree trunks coming up through the floor and heading up through the ceiling and is in a gorgeous natural setting.
Has anyone else run into a place that makes them feel like they've wandered into a Donaldson story?
