LOL Further up, and further in!

"Come to Elfhand," the troll said.
The child thought for a while....
"N-no" said the child
"Why not?" said the troll.
"Mother made a jam roll this morning," said the child.

In many ways this predictability makes the actions of Thomas Covenant even more annoying. You can kind of see the outcome of his bad choices even as he makes them. "I am Reave the Just. I have come as I have always come, for blood - the blood of kinship and retribution. Blood is the coin in which I pay my debts, and it is the coin in which I exact restitution." - Reave the Just

It is fun to read all your TCTC stories.

I didn't read the Chronicles until about 3 years ago when I was in my mid twenties. My fiancee kept recommending them to me, but he would always say, "Well, I don't think you would really like it becuase the main character is so negative." So of course I didn't read it! Then eventually I guess I got tired of him telling me to read it so i just DID.

Man, am I glad I did! I have read them twice and will probably read again soon. He was amazed at how quickly I got through them, but I couldn't stop reading, as you all know from experience.

-lorien Out flew the web and floated wide;
The mirror crack'd from side to side;
"The curse is come upon me," cried
The Lady of Shalott.

I started to read Lord Fouls Bane after my dad suggested I read it, but after reading half of the first chapter I stopped and read The Hobbit instead....
The idea of a hateful Leper walking through town imaging his Ex-wife in a see-through nightgown and looking at young school girls kind of...Whats the word? Shocked me. It didn't get any better when I started to read it again about half a year later and he raped lena....
At the moment Im just past half way through Power that Preserves. Im having a race with my sister, If i finnish the third book before she finnishes book number six then...Ermmm, I win.
