Moving right along...

So, tell us what you like most about the books? One of the things I like (not necessarily my favorite thing) is the way he carries the language relating to mirrors and glass all through the books. Even the exclamations: "Glass and splinters!" And the like...

I'll leave it to the next poster to continue...

(Thinks she has acquired Sky's bad habit of using ellipses. )

Hey, it's *my* bad habit, too! Darned useful, aren't they?

The thing I like most about MN is, I think, that surprising things keep happening. People pop into Terisa's room at odd times, from odd places; weird stuff materializes in midair (okay, usually not *good* stuff, but still); etc. And I like both Terisa and Geraden a lot. Neither is quite as annoying as most of SRD's main characters. Geraden is actually kind of endearing. <i></i>

I also like the way SRD adds what the speaker is thinking but not saying in the middle of the dialog. And isn't that really the way we speak, editing as we go along, and thinking things in the middle of a sentence that we decide not to verbalize?

mmm .. <not so happy about being blamed for bad habits

methinks it be a useful habit and visually appealing ..

*hides in corner and waits for the cruel and ruthless to counter that claim ..

About MN .. I liked the 2 main characters .. even though Terisa was relatively speaking - the tiniest bit irritating .. Geraden was endearing I agree .. Adept was entertaining and in MN I really enjoyed the wit and humour evident in this series.

Being a fantasy got to be one of the thumbs up for me .. SRD is excellent in this genre m'humble self thinks .. health and healing<i></i>

*pats Sky* Don't worry, we still love you. Even if you do use too many ellipses.

Hmmm...this seems to have turned into a favorite character thread. I really like Artagel. Havelock is hilarious.

And I loved being in Domne, as well. :D

~"M&M" as Theodon would call me :p "Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?"<i></i>

Yeah, Domne isn't as nice as Andelain, but the people are really cool. I wouldn't mind visiting there. Now if I could just find the right mirror.... <i></i>
