Well, the more peripheral the character, the less you see their "search". Each has some internal conflict they are trying to resolve. In MN there is much more resolution you get to see than in the TC books, certainly- maybe that's why SRD cast the story as a kind of fairy tale, in that there were so many "happily ever afters". A few that come to mind- Elega: looking for significance and personal power Myste: courage, challenge Lebbick: healing Tor: justification for his son's blood Havelock: ?? I'm not sure Barsonage's conflict is internal, nor Norge's, or some of the other's. |
