There is so much backstabbing, political intrigue, murder, and lying going on, you almost need a scorecard to figure out who is doing what to whom! Makes me feel like I'm back in George R.R. Martin's Westeros! <i></i>

It's quite possibly my favorite series...

the Complete Sourcebook has kind of mini-stories that explain events that did not take place in the series that are mentioned. With dialogue, etc. Further up, and further in! <i></i>

Corwin is an obvious favorite, I love him to death, I also really liked Random. Bleys I liked a lot too.
As for a girl... I loved Dierdre. She was strong, but uncorrupt, beautiful and its seemed no nonsense. <i></i>

For me - Luke (my favorite) and Merlin, but they belong to next generation and they ar not "pure" Amberites . I they can't be counted - I will pick up Corwin. I also like Fionna, Deirdre and Flora, but not as much as the first three. That's life: Trust and you're betrayed; don't trust and you betray yourself.<i></i>
