Highdrake was pretty excited about the new Esslemont book, too. He kinda went nuts about it at the Watch....
I think Erikson's a better writer, so I prefer his stuff. But RotCG wasn't bad. And some folks really liked NoK. So whatever.

I thought NOK was fully mediocre, but enjoyed ROTCG. I just like having story lines play out that take place in Mezla lands.
