So, thinking that with luck and better health, I might be seeing Highdrake in a couple of months, I have decided to try to quickly (HA! ) finish up the three Malazan books I have not read, just in case he wants to talk Mezla at any point that weekend. (I am setting aside my reread temporarily, knowing that there is no way in the world I can reread everything by the end of April. )

The first of those three unread is Reaper's Gale. Apparently, as was rumored, we are now back in my least favorite setting in the series - Lethar.

I managed to read about 100 pages before falling asleep. Which given how tired my medical condition makes me, is not bad at all. The last couple of months I have deliberately stayed away from complex or very long books because I am so tired. We shall see how this goes.

So far the only storyline that has captured my interest is Redmask. I am hoping that

Having a peaceful morning, leisurely reading RG in my recliner, watching the snow coming down and the finches at the feeders by my front porch.

The more I read about Redmask, the more questions I have.


And Featherwitch is in this book - yuck!

Am up to about page 250 now.
