Ahira's Hangar

The Edur army, accompanied by the soletaken wolves, have reached Lether city. Bugg asks the Crimson Guardsmen, who have taken employment with Tehol's dead thief, to kill the Soletaken god. It is a D'ivers.

The Wyval coems to full life and takes posssession of Udinaas. It forces him away from the Edur, and into battle against the wolf soletaken throughout the streets of the city.

What is left of the Letharii forces makes a stand on a bridge across a canal. teh second best swordsman in the city leads them. He and Rhulad manage to kill each other.

And Rhulad comes back to life without the help of his only friend in all the world. Udinaas is not there. And Rhulad falls into madness.

The Errant seems to have the same push/pull powers as the Malazan twon lord/lady god Oppon (spelling?). He has been pushing the soletaken wolves away from their god while the Crimson Guardsmen fight it. the D'ivers is soem sort of cross between lizards and big cats, and it kills one of the Guardsmen. But they kill it. And tghen they have to kill the leader of the wolf soletaken, as it gets there just a bit too late to help its god.

And then Bugg realizes that the Toblakai gods are breaking out of the Azath, and that the Azath champion is not free yet. it is another ugly job for he Crimson Guard Avowed (leader).

The High Mage (Ceda) has not been mad. Instead he has been pouring his power into trap for the forgotten sea god that has been bound to service for the Edur. he springs the trap and captures the god. And now the Ceda is free to fight for Lethar. Bugg senses the capture of the god, and calls in a favor from a Jaghut woman, who opens her warren and freezes the god in ice...
