It was announced today that a British publiching company has signed a contract with Ian Esslemont for four more Malazan novels, in addition to the two (Night of Knives and Return of the Crimson Guard) that are already out. He has already written part of one, called Stonewielder.

Malazan gets ever bigger. :wink:

So far no word on any US deal, though Tor picked up the US rights to his two previous novels a while back, and Night of Knives will finally have a US release this coming spring. (I think in May 2009???)
