I have to say, that I do not. How can Tavore ever know the very real very human cost of the policies which her Empress came up with, and which Tavore went along with if Tavore does not find out what has happened to Felisin?

I suspect Erikson did this as dramatic tension, Duchess. You can bet that before the end of the series, Tavore is gonna find out who she killed -- and at the worst possible time. Maybe Ganoes will do the honors. I'd pay money to see that.

That said, yeah, I'd like to have seen her people tell her it was Felisin. I'd like to see *some*thing rattle Tavore's calm. It's too freakin' unnatural.

Well to me, one of the biggest underlying themes of the entire series is the relationships/rivalries between siblings. So if Ganoes does somehow find out what happened to Felisin and then tells Tavore...

Is there anyone at all around Ganoes in the Seven Cities that knows what actually happened to Felisin, or they all off sailing out of Malaz Harbor with Tavore?

(I do not mind a mild spoiler, as I left off with The Bonehunters).

I'm sure there are many, many powers that could find out. Does the Crippled God need to slow down the Malazans? Hurting Tavore would be a good way to do it. If he checked into her past for things to make her doubt every move she makes, if not freeze entirely...
