With
Reaper's Gale coming soon, I have decided to embark on an Erikson reread.
So watch this space over the next few days for my reread of
Gardens of the Moon.
I actually read the first couple of chapters today, but have not had time to type anything up yet.
I will say that what I have always heard is true - it really does make one hell of a lot more sense once you have read other books in the series.
Another member at one of my other boards recently described Erikson's writing as [paraphrase] hearing a story from a drunken and forgetful yet very colorful Uncle Bob[/paraphrase]. There is some truth in that.
