I know of a few free web hosting sites...let me consult w/Heartcoal and get back 2 u! 5-31 update: HTML has been enabled in this forum. Hi, Computer troubles for awhile...Great weird art site,www.eddiebreen.com. Eddie buys really banal original art at flea markets and yard sales and redoes them using parts of original paintings, shows before and afters and talks about what inspired him. Very cool outsider type art, check him out!!!

Art is such a personal thing. The artist is very talented and imaginative, but I find his drawings distasteful. Just one person's opinion. I mean no offense.

I'm working on learning more HTML so I can figure out, xactly, how 2 throw original art up here-If u want 2 submit work and ur work is hosted: post ur URL here, or email me w/it. If ur stuff isn't hosted email me with ur HD page and address and I'll c if I can upload it 2 danlo's universe and find the proper HTML commands 2 get it on a page here. If u go 2 the Help button @ the top of the forums and then go 2 "Browse all help forums" Ezboard can teach u all the basics 2 do it urself. That's ok King Theodon because art is meant to make you have a strong reaction so finding Eddie Breen distasteful is good. Doesn't always have to be to your taste. By stimulating you to not like it, it crystalizes your concept of what you like.

Okay!!!I know how 2 do it now--and so can u!! This is how u can put ur artwork up here but in ur reply u must turn on HTML--there4 u cannot use emoticons or ezcode--it's also advisible 2 delete signature in this post (but I don't think u have 2) you can also post text as long as it's outside the <>s. Here's how 2 do it:

Now here's the problem--I do not have a scanner-so u cannot mail me a copy of ur art and xpect me 2 post it. If u have, or can get access 2, a scanner u can then email me ur image and I can host it in danlo's universe and post it here-or u can find a hosting site-get the url---and, then, place it here urself!! I will ask Heartcoal if she has a scanner then, possibly, u can mail it 2 her (if she gives us permission) then she can email it 2 me 2 host, or mayb some other nice member w/a scanner can do it 4 u. A very diplomatic reply, Ranoffwithgypsies! Thanks for your mature outlook as to people's differences in what they like. If we all liked the same art, I suppose the art would suffer. I admire the artist's imagination, but some of the religious thoughts were (I think) bordering on being sacriligeous.
I'm certainly not an art expert: if someone gave me the original Mona Lisa, I'd be overjoyed, but only at how much money I could get for it. Give me Roger Dean anyday (for those of you who've not see Yes's albums, he does tremendous fantasy scenes).
You are quite a lady, Ranoffwithgypsies. (Theoden offers a dozen roses to the lady of the gypsies).
[Trivia: Does anyone know that the word gypsy came from The Country Egypt? That and 75 cents will get you a cup of coffee!] Arise now, Riders of Théoden!Let horse be bridled, horn be sounded!Forth Eorlingas!

Thanks for virtual roses King Theoden! Saw your daughter's art, very good. Will try to email or send Danlo some of mine. Yes eddie breen's art verges on sacriligious but it is outsider art, verges on Schizty...but strong. Seems to be strongly influenced by nuns and possibly mental illness.

yeah I didnt mind the eddie breen link .. interesting .. I prefer art without inscriptions all over it .. art/visual images are more powerful speaking for themselves .. imo .. but I guess thats what breen is about .. making a statement to shock .. alarm his audience. Some pieces I preferred the original non-breened versions .. LOL .. though he is creative!! health and healing
